~~It was used in the defence of ports, bridges, dockyards and other war related facilities. Total production is estimated at around 2000 muskets but records indicate 827 or so delivered of these. I have only seen 14 in original condition.

SA MARINE (NAVY) DAGGER

The SA Marine dagger originally consisted of a standard SA Dagger with a black grip and scabbard. This was later changed back to the standard SA. Dagger but with copper or gilded fittings because of the smallness of the marine unit. It is extremely RARE
