The SA Röhm Honour Dagger

Year adopted 1934. Number produced 125,960. Very few remain in original condition. Collector availability with full inscription in original condition: Very rare.

In complete inscription; Rare. Authorized for wear by all SA officer including SS who were member before December 31, 1931.

Chief of staff, Ernst Röhm was assassinated on June 30, 1934 and in July 4, 1934, an SA order required the removal of the Röhm inscription on all Röhm Honour Daggers or the disposal of such daggers, very few survived the order.

The assassination was ordered by Adolph Hitler himself who feared the growing power of his chief of staff, Ernst Röhm.
