~~It was used in the defence of ports, bridges, dockyards and other war related facilities. Total production is estimated at around 2000 muskets but records indicate 827 or so delivered of these. I have only seen 14 in original condition.

The Deluxe Hunting Knife

Year Adopted: 1936

The Deluxe Hunting Knife maintained the same general configuation of the regulation model but was shorter in length and much more ornate. The hilt fittings are richly decorated with raised oak leaves. A clamshell depicting the near extinct German Auerhahn replaces the plain fluted version of the regulation model. One final difference is the engraved lower scabbard fitting which depicts a hunting scene. Fittings are all silver.
