~~It was used in the defence of ports, bridges, dockyards and other war related facilities. Total production is estimated at around 2000 muskets but records indicate 827 or so delivered of these. I have only seen 14 in original condition.

#NZ142 - Personal Sword of General Paul Deichmann

 

A notable knights cross medal winner on March 26, 1944 as Commander of the first flyer division along with the German Cross in gold, plus the Spanish Cross in gold with swords.

Born: August 27, 1898, in Fulda, germany, recipient of the highest decoration presented by Field Marshall Hermann Goring; who presented the inscibed model 1938 generals' sword bearing Field Marshal Goring's name.
